The Louisiana Vaccine Center and the South Louisiana Institute for Infectious Disease Research are pleased to announce the outcome of the initial round of applications to their Cooperative Pilot Research Grant Fund.

     A large number of high quality applications were received and all were peer reviewed.   Available funds permitted the award of TEN Pilot Research Grants in this round . A list of awardees is available for download in the side menu.

     Many thanks to all who participated in this process.  We plan to announce further research funding initiatives in 2009.
